the upper cabinets are white and blend in to the walls, while the lowers are mid century wood.

I like the tall thin pantry doors and paneling to ceiling to make the wall look like a unit. I think we could use that look exactly on our fridge wall. The coloring of wood is perfect (Tom agreed) and the dark counter, but would prefer matte.

I like the open cabinets under the closed cabinets. these could look nice in place of shelves. I like the backsplash too... both the color and shape. nice that it's not just square.
