My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Saved this as an "I don't like this island" for a few reasons: 1) exposed edge/corner 2) end chair is not tucked under/is exposed. running in to an edge of an island will never be comfortable, but this design would make it extra frustrating (for us). We have a saying in our house "gotta have soft knees" because the big dogs can sometimes push you around and in to things. Anything to "soften the blow" helps.
