This is a good start for inspiration for using jewel tones in these old, outdated Niwot home styles with too much damned wood trim. The style tip is to use modern lines in the furniture and rich but neutral paint color on the walls like Ralph Lauren's cobblestone. WHY oh WHY did they take that off the market? The velvet, muted green and gold accents work in this space.
I can see my daughter, Xuri living in a space like this. And if we had to live in a smaller space, may it be cozy and warm and inviting like this.
Repurpose this space as a library. Floor to ceiling shelves with a ladder for easier access and maybe one chair. Keep the clear doors. Match them to the office doors...
