Love the side chairs/bench and that the use of color and pattern.

I like the wallspace here. I don't believe in empty walls. Walls should have interesting things on them, either attention-catching woodwork or hangings.

It's still has clean lines and looks put together, but it has color, texture, and pattern, and the walls aren't bare. It looks like a place you could have a serious conversation, or sit in comfy jammies with a ratty ponytail as you happily binge-watch bad TV. So far this is the most like me. Also, that coffee table is lovely. I really like this room.

This feels very me...except for the pure white walls.

If you could find a way to put a swinging chair somewhere, I would squee with joy and probably cry.

Hard No to the zebra rug. I'm not an animal print person. But I love the b/w theme and the upscale, targeted POV. Every inch is used. Also, love the flared sides on the couch and chair.

I would choose different wood colors, but this is clever, and I love clever.

I'm not the kind of person who would buy 1) a velvet couch 2) in olive, much less butt it up against sky blue and mustard yellow, but in my heart I want to be.

The colors are too soft and sweet, and it feels like a grandma's parlor, but I like it.
