This is a cut and polished exposed aggregate concrete floor. It uses an off-white cement and selected and graded (sized) aggregates (mostly basalt and quartz) that have been exposed by a series of cuts/grinds of increasing fineness. The cut surface is then sealed with a polyurethane. If you have a look at our Glen Iris Residence project you can see that we used a bonding agent in the concrete which mean that it didn't need a sealing coat post-grinding, although the final effect is a bit more of a matt one than here.
