Color of wood on island

We recently installed Clarino Viatera Polished Quartz countertops in our ranch style home creamy white kitchen. We chose not to go brushed because I read that it was more porous than the polished and more prone to allow staining. We chose Champagne Bronze hardware which really helped bring out the coppery tones in the Clarino, a warm gray backsplash, and a white farmhouse sink because I did not like the yellowy “pee” looking cream colored sinks. Also, the darker sinks show water spots so that was an easy no. The white turned out great and it’s definitely a show stopper. The countertops are shimmery and beautiful.

My favorite flooring, like the drama the charcoal island and lighting provides. Range hood maybe culd use touch of detail, like the backsplash under the range hood. Dont care for stools, but like the touch of darker wood.

I like the island, floors. I think darker beams and wood added to range hood would help. Overall, it seems too pale and lacking drama. Light fixtures are nice.
