FIREPLACE Portrait orientation, gallery mat and frame , one on each side of fireplace, balance the TV. This is not the actual I would choose but the only vertical Ansel Adams that I could find on Houzz. All art work is to reflect the people who live in the house - photography for Jim, previous places we have lived/traveled.

ALCOVE wall art and credenza become one piece of furniture. I love this but I need to match the color of the island in the base and the wall art needs to speak to the upper cabinets - white .

ALCOVEclean simple lines use only in the side columns with 2.5 or 3 inch shelves same color as the wall, semi gloss paint. mostly sculptural pieces, only 3 -4 openings. The light weight design would balance with light weight drapes on the windows - embracing the room.
