Natural Lighting- The natural light from the sun shines thru from the windows. The natural light brightens up the room creating a luminous room without artificial light.

Task Lighting- The sconce is attached beside the bed directly under the nightstand. This creates a lighting that showcases the nightstand.

Accent Lighting- The light accents the stairwell.

Ambient Lighting- The forms that take ambiance lighting includes the ceiling fixture, the scones, and the lamp.

Grazing- The brick wall is being showcased by light and thus allowing for the texture to be noticeable.

Perimeter Lighting- This technique allows for the room to be illuminated, however the fixtures are hidden and this creates a boundary.

Up Lighting- The area around the fence has light fixtures that are planted on the ground; this creates lighting that shoots up.

Cove Lighting- Is a technique that directs light towards the ceiling as shown in the living room.

Recessed Lighting- Baffle is a type of recess lighting as shown in the picture. It general baffle lighting is the most common.

Drop Lighting- The chandeliers serve the purpose of drop lighting. The fixtures are carefully placed, this prevents any injury.

Wall Washing- The lighting is focused on the painting and is angled directly to the painting, this creates a soft look.

Sconce- This bathroom has sconces attached to either side. This type of lighting as viewed in the picture is being lit up.

2x4 Lighting- This lighting is primarily used in offices; this type of lighting is harsh on surfaces and is being used less and less.

Incandescent- Incandescent light bulbs can be seen inside the drop light fixtures.

Fluorescent Lighting- Fluorescent light bulbs are being used in the garage on the ceiling creating a bright room.
