Visual Texture- with the mix of patterns in the fabrics and rug there is a lot of interesting visual texture in this room.

Focal Point- Clearly the amazing aquarium is a standout focal point in this room. I have never seen one as a surround to a fireplace as well. Very cool!

Pattern- I love the mix and match of colors and pattern in this room, it really makes it pop!

Symmetrical Balance- What is on the right is also on the left, if you cut e room down the middle it would match perfectly except for the bookshelf and windows, but they balance each other.

Radial Balance- A perfect example of the positioning of rounded sofas with two side chairs within a rounded room! The addition of rounded coffee table and rug, light fixture and side table add to the circular them. What a view!

Patina- This copper clad fireplace will surely patina over time and add a lot of flair to the room!

Line- This space utilizes the repetition of line in the various rectangles throughout. From the windows to the fireplace and the two tall, recessed spaces with rectangular art-work. Also, the long linear sofa placed at the edge of the rectangular rug lines up perpendicular to the room.

This a good example of Asymmetrical balance in a room. The heaviness of the sofa and large side table as well as the sculpture on a console table balances out with the two side chairs and fireplace.
