bathroom 2. heavy color: the dark wood color with the dark tiles and furniture give more smaller look even though its pretty big

bedroom 3. light furniture: the bed, chair and curtains all emphasize the light colors in the photo. giving a calmer and uniform look and making it feel like a more airy and open space.

family room 4. heavy colored: the darker walls and fire place and even though the furniture is only half dark (I still count it) give the room a look smaller and gives it interior zoning.

hallway 5. light decor: the paint and logs on the roof and walls make the room have a larger appearance. due to the reflection of light appearing on the walls. also the absence of furniture also makes the room look bigger due to the fact that less things=more room.

living room 6. heavy decor: the brick walls and dark furniture give the room an absence of light so the room looks smaller. also the large amount of furniture makes the room look smaller because there's less room not taken up

dining room 7. cool texture: this room I would say is very cool. the table, walls, furniture and floor aren't very rugged. they don't look very old in fact It looks like a very modern log cabin.

kitchen 8. warm decor: this room is the opposite of number 7. the cabinets and flooring are a very rugged and old style wood pattern. it does not look very modern and more old stylish.

study 9. horizontal: this room is very small. but thanks to the horizontal logs and couch on the wall the room looks wider. it makes it look like more people can fit in there than you actually can.

mud room 10. vertical: this one is a bit harder to notice then the rest. but the logs holding the ceiling up make the room look taller. and makes the chairs look shorter than they actually are.

study 11. curved lines: in this study the archway and windows soften up the space. giving a calming sense of relief to the people inside.
Q
Photo
stairwell 12. diagonal/zigzag lines: the diagonal lines of this stairwell give it the illusion of tension movement and excitement( although probably not that strong),. giving it a dramatic effect
Q

bedroom 13. positive space: this room is filled with furniture. the rug, chair, dresser and three beds are a lot for a kind of small space like this. giving it a smaller feeling.
Q

hallway 14. negative space: this space here dosen't really have any decoration besides a few pictures on the wall. giving this hallway a bigger look and feeling.
office 1. light color: the table+ flowers and the wood /window colors all contribute to the light color the illusion makes the room bigger with lighter colors
