My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

I like the painted mantle with same color of room paint offset by white trim of the room and white fireplace trim. Would this look good with carpet?

I like the use of tile to fill in the surround and the large/bulky mantle to draw your eye. Probably will not have tv above fireplace.
