The dark slate is unique and maybe a good base for muskoka perch to pull the charcoal colours from the house to the landscaping. Could consider a stone gas fireplace in that area overlooking the lake.

I could see this setup on the southeast side of the MBR to provide privacy from the neighbours....just don't want to affect the view from the MBR. Consider sinking the hot tub into the ground so not to impede the view.

Love the rough fescue area that surrounds the tidy pool/deck area...could do stone walkway through it to the Muskoka perch

we created this at our last lakefront property and LOVE the look with the armour stone behind the patio....but there has to be a walkway to it without having to walk through the grass or it might not get used as much as we'd like

simple way to create a covered sitting area nearer the water that isn't vulnerable to the weather, although our shade at cottage withstood the winds fine
