We are not looking to have beige cabinetry, but the color scheme is nice. Adding a little bit of black elements in there make it not so matchy matchy to the living room it connects to.

This kitchen looks just like ours as well, even though it has a window. There seems to be use of open glass cabinetry for some display, some sort of appliance garage. Steve said these are soap stone countertops, which we aren’t really interested in, but the contrast is interesting if it doesn’t make the space too dark.

We were talking about ways to extend the island to accommodate seating if we didn’t do the bench seating. This is an interesting solution. We are not really into mid-century modern, but the elements could be taken from it. The colors are kind of nice.
