Scale: this room shows the element scale. It shows this because we can tell that this is a kids room and everything is to scale with a smaller kid. For example, the table and chairs are to scale to a kid. They would not fit a adult

Curved line: this room has the curved line element. Almost everything in this room has plenty of shapes, usually involving circles or just curved lines. The main one are the couch, light, and tables. This makes the room feel calm and gives it a sense of softness.

Repetition: this room has the element repetition. In this room they have four identical lights that hang down from the ceiling. Also the chair are perfectly set and are all the same. This is pleasant to the eye and makes your eyes go from left to right.

Transition: This room shows the Transition element because although there is a big centerpiece in the middle (the waterfall) that draws your eyes right away, your eyes also want to transition to both of the sides of the room because each area of the room is slightly different.

Texture: This room shows the element texture, because as I look around in this area I can see brick, wood, and fur. All of these not only have a unique feeling but also each of them have a unique look. Adding all of this texture to this area makes the room more visually interesting and looks cozy.

Focal Point: the element in this room is focal point, this is because even though there are a few other colors in the room like the door and little bit of blue at the top, but these things are either small or not as bright of colors. The designer purposely did this to make our eyes immediately drawn to the bright red couch. This shows that this is the defying feature in the space.

Gradation: the element in this room is gradation. This is because the room has very large repeating windows that draw our eyes from up to down or down to up. This is good because as your eyes wander that direction you end up looking at the whole room. This happens because the windows are so much bigger than everything else so it immediately draws your eyes

Radial Balance circular configuration: this room shows the element radial balance circular configuration. They show this in the room by pretty much everything. From the curved walls and windows, to the curved couch, chairs, and table. This creates cohesion in the room and balances the area out.

Asymmetrical Balance: this room shows asymmetrical balance by using objects on each side of the room that are different but yet go well together. The main things in the room that show that are the book case because although they don’t have the same stuff on top of the shelf’s, they are the same color and style. Another example of that is the couch on the left side and the two chairs on the right side. All of this stuff balances each side of the room out.

Form 2D or 3D: this area shows form, it does this by adding lots of shapes and design to the walls and the mirror. This makes this area memorable and even though it’s a lot of shapes and sizes, they go well with each other and they don’t make the space look tacky.

Horizontal line: this room shows the element of horizontal line. The area does this by creating the illusion of the width in this space. For example, there is not a lot of furniture in the middle of the room, making it look like there is more space than there may actually be. While if there would be a lot of furniture in the room it would make it look like there was less space in the room.

Proportion: this element in the room shows proportion. It shows proportion because all of the chair at the table fit perfectly under the table and at the end of the table there are larger chairs that line up with the smaller chairs. Because the chairs are proportional to the table, it makes them functional.

Light: the element being used in this room is light. They use light in this room to illuminate the room. The large windows and the choice of reddish looking wood makes the room look very peaceful and soft, especially when the sun is setting or rising.

Pattern: this room is using the element pattern. They are doing this to create visual interest in this space. The zebra pattern goes very well with the style of wood they put in this room. The pattern is not to over powering and makes the room more memorable.

Vertical Line: this room shows the element vertical line. It shows this by adding the large wall in the middle of the room. This creates the illusion of heigh in this area. Another way they create this illusion is by adding the table and chairs, these are a lot smaller compared to the wall and therefore shows, these height in this space.

Diagonal Line: this room shows the element diagonal line. The room shows that by putting so much stuff to look at, such as because they did clear railings, it creates more movement in the space because you can see so much more and your eyes are constantly moving.

Symmetrical Balance: this room shows the element symmetrical balance. It does this by putting the same exact objects on each side. For example the hanging chairs, ladders, beds, and bridge are in the same spot as the opposite side.
