If you take away the arbor and change out the French door for a matching window, this is a pretty good look, though I’m not sure whether we should have another cupola given the one on the house right next to it. If it would help with natural ventilation, it might be something we could consider. I also wonder if we want the center portion of the roof to angle to the sides as opposed to toward the pool.

This one has a bit of an overhand that comes out closer to the pool, which would make it easier to leave the doors open, regardless of the weather during the warmer months. I’m not sure if we have enough room for this, but could be a way to bring some shade to a portion of the pool deck,

This is an alternate look for the doors, where the they are sliding away on a track when not in use. This one has a lower wall height for the closed side, which isn’t something we were thinking of, but could be a different look to consider if it doesn’t end up adding a bunch of costs.

This has the accordion doors tucked in on the sides in their fully open state. It also shows the solid back wall. I dont think we want to cupola or painted shingle look, but the structure of the center unit was inspired by this. I think the ceiling height here is probably higher than 9 feet, but the wall heights might not be more than 8’

Conceptually, this has the two closed ends with the open center, though in our case we would like to have a wall on the backside of the open portion away from the pool.

Stylistically, this seems to fit with our main house. The shape isn’t correct and the doors aren’t what we want, but the design style is probably similar.
