Salon
One of the safest ways to do this is to mix leather chairs with a fabric sofa or vice versa, so the materials contrast in an obviously intentional way. It gives the living room design some diversity, which can also give members of the family different options to suit their seating preferences.

Embrace Vertical Space If your small living room is blessed with high ceilings, take full advantage of that extra space. Fill the vertical space with an eclectic art gallery.

Colors The colors of the year are muted, earthy and close to nature, with green still in the spotlight. Fir green, the big color of 2019, is still present here and there, but the new green of the year ahead is tinged with yellow and tends toward warmer khaki or olive.
Furniture Straight lines are giving way to rounded shapes, and circles could be seen everywhere: in lamps, rugs, mirrors, furniture and more. Ovoid and oval shapes also are seen. The sofas and chairs of the year have curved lines, giving interiors a soft feeling.
Earthy Shades Carry On Matte, dull and earthy colors remain trendy, manifesting an affirmation of the desire for nature.
