A design of rocks
Just kinda different having rocks instead of plants in these circular areas.
This is a design to look into further. The cypress wall, the curved patio.
Border all around the fence line.
Something like this that leads to full concrete. Or vice versa.
Would laying flagstone be cost effective vs full concrete?

A small area using flagstone in a corner perhaps.

Just an idea but again, the use of small rocks is iffy. Or maybe use the rocks I already have as a cost savings option.
A break in concrete (or pavers) for plant areas. This is what I will probably end up getting in a large portion of the yard. Then, fruit trees .

I like the privacy screen and the nook area itself.
The size is nice as well as the tree itself. This is a Japanese maple Acer palmatum 'Fireglow'. A great small tree.”
A row of these "smaller sized" trees is ideal. "The trees at the back are ficus Hillii and the Bamboo is slender weaver clumping bamboo” Also, the bamboo is nice but in containers only.

I like this look of trees in pots making them portable if desired.

A "non-patio" area; or a "sitting area" minus the patio
Pretty oasis. Not a typical patio looking thing but nonetheless it's a sitting area.
This is very interesting and a possibility for a design in my backyard. Lay the concrete or whatever that is down, create a circular grass area and plant around it.
