Having an area of built in 'window' seats MIGHT be nice somewhere in LR/DR area - kids like to lounge on them and I think Cat has said she likes them but I have seem them used as one side of dining area and it is never good long term! Also I expect you have to reeeeally hit the location of one right or it is just an unused thing - and finding/hitting that undefinable something that makes a sweet spot for one would be tough! Exposure/sunlight and relationship to other activities ect - tough to figure out and get it 'right'
