#PlayHouzz
It was impossible to see the interpretation of only one mode of transportation throughout the design – so here you have the “full line-up” of Transportation Stations. Each with their own unique features and storage capabilities, all were designed with mass production and homeowner assembly in mind. Think outside the “houzz” if you will, and step into the adventures associated with transportation. Though stationary, these play structures have the nostalgic representation of our greatest decades of technological advancements and are meant to move children into an imaginative and innovative mindset that will forever foster such beautiful minds. The furniture-grade material, customizable finish, and simple approach to the design is intended to be featured less often in a play room full of toys, and more often as a piece of the family room or living space.
Although fit with minimal ‘gadgets’ or ‘distractions’ for a child (we all need these, even as adults), the intention of such a play station is to attune our children’s comfort levels with painting, drafting, coloring, sketching, etc. - the list goes on!
I see parents staining, children painting, designers upholstering, and craftsmen combining or editing these products into the imagination station fit for their home and customized for their child.
This [these] is my PlayHouzz 2016 entry, and I hope you can see the value in such a simple strategy to providing our children with an opportunity for adventure.
