#PlayHouzz
****2016 PlayHouzz Runner-up Winner within Houzz & AIA's Global Playhouzz Design Competition****
Adventure Time starts here…around every corner is (literally) a new adventure.
Explore the world in a Sea Vessel! Play inside the Playhouse - make this ground level space your own - is it a home? A school? A business? A reading room? An art room? When the sun goes down the fun doesn’t have to end…invite your friends to an Outdoor Movie Theater or have a slumber party under the stars!
YOU transform this space into what your imagination sees.
This design gives children the structure to go on any adventure they choose. It is built for a multi-seasonal climate, providing sunshine and shade, along with air flow. Interactive design exhibits ways for children to see, hear, touch, smell, and taste (if they grow some veggies). Individual design elements allow theme changes and personality with chalkboard paint in multiple locations - helping to promote creativity, communication, and cognitive skills.

Please Note: While not required for this competition, this playhouse has been designed for ALL children. At the ground level is a 36 inch wide door per ADA code with an accessible ramp leading up to it allowing for easy access for ALL children including those in wheelchairs. The interior room’s hammock (on hooks) can easily be removed, opening the area to a five foot diameter circle (ADA wheelchair turning radius minimum requirement). Although, access to the boat deck is not wheelchair accessible, providing a ship ladder with guiderails vs. a vertical ladder will allow for easier access for children of all ability ranges. And of course, on movie night, everyone is welcome to pull up a lawn chair or curl up in a warm quilt for an evening of fun!
