How do we encourage imaginative play? We create the following: a specific space, have props or mobilityoptions, different textures—tactile diversity, materials for different themes.
This playhouse has multiple individualized spaces, variousmaterials and shaped portal holes, and different stimulating colors. There are a variety of ways to enternot only the house, itself, and on each level, but each compartment —(stairs, rocks,ladder, tunnels). The mobility options are encouraged witha slide that can be moved in and out, zip-line, monkey bars and the swing. Tactile diversity includes wood,rocks, sand, turf, and rope. The housewill also accommodate all heights and sizes of children for all age groups,so no one will feel left out.
