One of my most wonderful childhood memories was the thrill and sheer joy of adventuring into the woods.
The idea was ¨bringing a piece of the woods¨into the urban space.
I wanted to bring these myriad of joys with nature to children in an urban environment so they could experience them too.
To experience the excitement of climbing trees, hiding in the top between the branches and look down through the leaves holes wondering about the world.
Or to find a spot and seat enraptured in a book.
To revel in the magic of the forest floor: skipping, hopping and jumping between tree trunks, playing hide and seek, exploring light and colour, collecting leaves, pebbles and bark.
And then tired, letting their minds drift while they swing in a hammock.
This is an invitation to dare, explore and wonder and see the imagination being inspired!
