This playhouse harkens back to classic kids adventure stories and cartoons featuring haunted houses, pirate hideouts, and villains lairs. It’s meant to evoke the sort of places the Hardy Boys, the Scooby gang, or Nancy Drew might end up after following a series of seemingly unrelated clues. To that end, this compact space is packed with several features that will allow imaginative kids a environment to solve any mystery that might come up.
After entering, your mystery-loving child will be challenged to find a secret button that will open the hidden door. After that they’ll find a ladder that accesses a secret room. To exit this room they'll need to use the firefighters pole that will lead them back to the main space. From there they’ll have to find a trap door which can be used to sneak out the back. And lastly, a wall panel pivots for a quick getaway, a spooky entry, or an unexplained disappearance.
While the spirit of a haunted house is evoked, it will still be welcoming to kids of any age. To that effect, whimsicle angles are given to the roof lines and windows and the trim is painted in a color scheme reminiscent of the "Mystery Machine" from the Scooby Doo cartoons.
