The inspiration for this Play House came from distant memories of what I considered my childhood Adventures.
Most of these adventures involved hiking on or around our farm or in the Drakensberg Mountains in Kwazulu-Natal in South Africa, most frequently with my father and siblings, but also with school friends.
My father seldom went anywhere without his binoculars, camera and copy of Robert’s Birds of Southern Africa.
Had I children, I would have liked to instil in them the same love of nature that my father did in me.
I hope that this play house might do the same for other children.
It was a lot of fun to design and helped me get to grips with the basics of using SketchUp, which I've previously just tinkered with.
