The forest is a place of the unexplored, undeveloped, and undetermined. It is a realm with no signs or maps; however the forest stretches out endless paths before you. What awaits you down a path is for you to choose.It is direction in life that you don’t always know. It is adventure. Hercynian House aspires to capture the spirit of the forest as a playhouse space. It is a cavern to crawl into and sit under; it is a tree to climb up and observe upon; it is a reading room masked in the green of leaves; and it is a vertical garden that safeguards these spaces and blends them among the greater adventures to be found inthe forest or one’s backyard.
