The Pinwheel Playhouse was tailored to fit the capabilities of a parent with a limited amount of tools and construction experience, 4 free weekends, a home improvement store credit card, and a minivan. The title “Pinwheel” comes from the fact that the two-level balloon framed structure is organized around the shape of a pinwheel - with each of the four zones playing host to a unique activity.

The theme “Adventure” is fitting theme for this playhouse, its simple form and flexible nature of each of the four pinwheel zones allows both children and adults to use their imagination and create a unique story every time they play. Whether imagined as a frontier fort, a pirate ship with upper level crows nest, or a simple cottage in the wilderness is left to the creative and imaginative minds of the users.
