I don't like the idea of more walls, necessarily, but this wooden structure separating the kitchen from living room appears to be a food pantry - could explore this idea for additional storage in the kitchen

i like this ribbon window hybrid concept - took 2 awning windows for the exterior space so you can have fresh air and used a panel ribbon in the center. office? master bedroom on the southwest wall above bed? or bad idea because difficult to cover/block unwanted light for sleeping?

For a mudroom at the back, we just want something simple, that is hidden from view in the living room. We like the idea of having a compartment for the shoes and a place to sit while you put shoes on.

We like the idea of a small mudroom at the back entrance of the house. This is where we will enter from the garage. We'll need somewhere for shoes and coats that's not just the living room floor.
