My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Things we DON'T LIKE AT ALL

A few things that are "no go zone" like floral patterns and heavy furniture

This is too medicinal and cold and sterile. The space needs to be beautiful but at the same time comfy enough to curl up and watch a movie.

This is WAY too taupe. Although beautiful (because your rooms are all lovely), it is too yellow/brown earth for our taste. We want to take this color OUT, not add it.

Beautifully done but NOT AT ALL in line with our thinking. Too stark and not relaxing enough. We want the home to be "spa meets NY hotel", while still livable and practical.

These chairs are everywhere and we have a few already in the home. Would prefer to stay away from more of this style.
