My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Furniture/Items to Keep in Mind

There are certain furniture and art elements that are with us for good... and they need to be carefully thought about when we design our home in terms of where they will fit, and how we design areas of solid wall space for them. This is our collection, with measurements.

Current home of the cookbooks (they don't fit well in this as some shelves are too narrow and some not high enough) with a painting of our kids with Sheri's mom above. The cookbooks overflow from here into baskets and another shelf (currently there's 125 of them... they're Sheri's weakness and where she gets her inspiration when it comes to the Sprouts recipe development that she does). W2'3" x D 1' x H4'3"

Desk for either a study/home office or for the third story room... it would look really beautiful facing out into the room as well as it has a very good looking front that is hidden when it is shoved up against a wall... but then we'd need a floor outlet for computer cords. W6' x D2'5" H2'8"
