My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Another pattern, but not that great. Ignore the laminate color.

Black mirrors may not as nice as we thought.

This random square pattern is simple yet sophisticated.

The view from the side isn’t nice.

This layout looks like something that will fit the living room.

Mixture of high and low counter tops

The thin shelving on the left is interesting, the asymmetry can hide the one foot gap we have to leave for the curtain (we won’t leave a gap when the TV console joins the display cabinet, as well as the ceiling extension to the false ceiling).
Q

I like recess below the TV and above the cabinet.
Q

See how this designer deal with the uneven ceiling.
Q

Can we bound part of the surface in black leather?
Q

Thick surfaces and legs, and curves and contours, give this an elegant look.

That’s how the different heights in the L-shape desk I like.

Glossy = opulence?

This gold trimming looks cool too.

Bronze trimmings?

How to fit the shoe cabinet?
Q

A plain semi-glossy and matte laminate with vertical strips looks elegant too.
Q

How about making a bold statement with some accented laminate below the counter top?
Q

Alan is probably right that a shallow counter top depth will not be functional.
Q

A curved top counter might work, if we only have the top counter on one side.
Q
Photo
Very close to Alan’s design, but using shaker trimmings.
Q

I like the two-tone laminate.

A glass top counter might match the coffee table, but will expose everything you’re trying to hide on the lower deck.
Q
Photo
Use of slanted support.

I probably don’t like it, but I’ll save it for reference. A wine counter that stops short below the false ceiling and becomes a full breakfast counter.

I like the down lights under the bar counter and at the foot.
Another pattern, but not that great. Ignore the laminate color.
