We like the raised seating area like this. No grass, however, for us. We also like the overhang and shed.

Nice way to add flowers, hang them off a wall like this. Could work for us but I would want it done in a minimalist, modern way. Note: I am not a gardener and have no green thumb. I love plants and flowers but want things that are easy to care for.

We like this idea a lot to add lighting outside. Lights in the tiles themselves. Safe for baby too. Anything we do has to be safe for a 1-3year old.

IF we add a shed in the backyard can we make it look cute with windows or something that will make it cuter than a normal shed?

Like this classic pergola, but what we don't want is a wood structure that fades in short time and looks ugly. What other material could we use for a overhang type of structure.

We really like this concept. Love the rich, colored tiles close together like this. Love the built in BBQ space (just right) and love how they added depth by putting another "row" in essence where flowers and hardscape are behind the sofa (see left side of photo). This is my favorite so far. We don't want any grass, however.

We like the overhead idea, not the roman columns. ALso would love to put a chandelier hanging from something like this.

We like the good use of space here. Smooth tight pavers and we would like to place a shed in the back of the yard like this playhouse here.

We like the different levels that were added to make a simple backyard more interesting. Would this work for us? If Menlo Park allowed a fire pit (rather than outdoor fireplace), then I like this pit idea. I also like smooth pavers close together for flooring.
