This room is a mess to me. I have no idea where the focus is. I think the proportion / scale is also a mess. Yea. I am not a fan of this room.

I like the architectural details and the focal point, the design creates

I like how the use of color creates a flow or ties the open area together. I do NOT like the recessed lighting fixtures.

I do NOT like the look of this room. The furniture is TOO modern and too low.

I like the built in and lighting features present in this room. I like the texture the brick wall creates. I do not need brick the point of sending is to share the use of texture.

COLOR - I like the color on the main wall here. Subtle blues and greens usually with what I call a gray undertone works. Both fits with my current idea of an ocean theme.

You often see ornate doors in Mexico and while I stated that I prefer clean lines an ornate door works well for me.
