Dowds Design Collection does amazing work! Beautiful house plans and they are very easy to work with and very fast response time.

I have to be honest, I was a bit apprehensive to work with a designer who wasn't local, but my experience to date working with Laura has been the best design experience I've ever had! She is super quick to respond, pays great attention to detail & has been a total delight to work with! I highly recommend Dowds Design!

We hired this company to design our new home from existing plans they had done which caught our attention relative to other designer plans that we reviewed. As one would expect this process requires numerous changes and revisions until final completion to make this fit our lifestyle needs. Laura and her company have gone above and beyond our expectations to fulfill all of our needs at a price that was very reasonable. All of our revisions and changes were completed with an almost instant reply. Q: Why would you go anywhere else if you get great professional service at a reasonably price in a timely manner?

3D designed and built our new deck. The work was very professional, the design was spot on for our needs, the work site was kept neat and tidy. We were kept abreast of the progress and changes were handled with expertise and fair pricing. The deck is one year old and looks as it was installed yesterday! Tim Dowds was able to translate our vision in to reality without a hiccup!

Tim Dowds' 3D company provided the vision and expertise to remodel our bathroom with excellence beyond our expectations. He developed the bathroom design that I love- from transom windows over the double vanity sinks, a large mirrored tower with lots of storage, a large shower with a great bench and a wonderful tiled floor design. All this for a small bathroom that functions like a bigger bathroom! Tim's attention to detail and customer satisfaction were amazing. He provided very helpful suggestions in selecting tile, granite, cabinets and paint colors. All this reflected his many years of experience. He was great about follow through on request that I made and dead lines he projected. You will be delighted to have Tim Dowds and his crew on any project in your home. I'm thrilled he created a fabulous new bathroom for us!

Tim and his staff were excellent and wonderful to work with. Tim was diligent in his communications and his work was excellent. He provided a new glass shower stall and even expanded the existing area which was great. He also did a kitchen backsplash which came out beautiful. They cleaned up after themselves every day as well. Respectful and Reliable are the two words that come to mind when I think of this contractor. We will be hiring him again for other projects in our home and yard.

3D did a complete kitchen remodel for us which included all new appliances, cabinets, granite countertops, new hardwoods, lighting, and many extras (window seat, lighted wine storage, etc). The large island/bar area exceeded our expectations and is fantastic for entertaining. In every way we are thrilled with the outcome! Throughout the project, 3D did a great job of keeping us informed, including giving information in advance if choices we were making would have a budget impact beyond initial estimates. They offered good suggestions for where we could make trade-offs to either save money or get more bang for the buck. All workers and subcontractors were top-notch craftsmen, highly professional and courteous, and reliable in showing up when they said they'd be there. The worksite was cleaned up and vacuumed every single day! We can't say enough about Tim Dowds (owner of 3D). He's got a great eye for design, and is committed to having things turn out perfect. He spent about nine months working with us to develop ideas, plans, etc. before we ever moved to the stage of write up a contract. I'm sure we would have never been able to visualize ourselves the way the kitchen turned out, and a big part of this was Tim's investment of his own time in developing 3-dimensional CAD drawings for us to use as guides. What a huge difference this made for us, and helped ensure we "got it right" before getting started. When we were finally ready to pull the trigger, the project stayed on schedule and budget except when we decided to change course. All change ideas that came up (either from us or from Tim) were discussed, budgeted, and agreed upon in advance. No surprises ever! Tim and 3D went above and beyond to make sure we had an ahead-of-schedule working kitchen in time for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. We experienced tremendous customer service throughout the entire engagement, will most certainly use Tim and 3D for future projects, and would recommend their work without any reservation at all.

3D Home Construction has completed three separate projects for us over the last couple of years. These projects included a kitchen renovation, a laundry room addition, room remodeling, and a master bath renovation. Tim, the builder, is professional, attentive, and surpasses expectations. He delivers a high quality product on time and on schedule. His attention to detail and the needs of his clients is excellent!

I hired Tim to do the remodeling of my kitchen because I had seen his work at other locations and knew the quality of his work. In addition to the kitchen, he checked out my entire house and informed me of things that needed to be corrected. Another reason I chose him to do my work is he is very creative and has some good ideas for giving a person's home a unique look. He stays within budget and even suggests ways to save money but still have the same quality and unique appearance. All his work was performed to the nth degree of perfection. He runs his business very efficiently and adheres to planned work schedule. He maintains a clean work site, cleaning up all debris at end of each day.
