We found the team of Julia Long and Michelle Wagner Adams to be outstanding listeners who took the time to understand our needs. They worked efficiently to help us understand options within our budget, and developed thoughtful alternatives for us to consider. They have deep contacts within the community, and thus can readily recommend contractors, flooring experts, lighting experts, and more. They helped us get from the "I want to renovate but don't know what to do" stage to the "Let's get this work started" stage with the contractor. We had no idea how to get from point A to point B ourselves! We are grateful for Julia's and Michelle's work. Construction starts in 3 weeks, and we can't wait.!

514 Design was a pleasure to work with. They accommodated my work schedule (60+ hours/wk), listened to my wants and needs and made it happen. We communicated extensively through email and houzz, with face to face meetings when necessary. I asked them to provide me 3 choices when picking out materials to speed up the process, which worked well. The contractor also mentioned he enjoyed working with them. Julia and Michele of 514 Design found issues on the punch list that needed to be repaired, that I would have never noticed, if they hadn't pointed it out. With 514 Design's help we stayed on budget. We missed several deadlines, which was mostly due to Hurricane Harvey hitting half way through construction which led to delay in materials and subcontractors. Building/remodeling is an exhaustive process and you need someone with the expertise and skills to guide your through the process who always has your best interest in mind.

I absolutely love my kitchen update by 514 Design. I had a small kitchen with only one way in and out and I couldn't imagine how to make it bigger...they creatively added a doorway and extended the kitchen slightly into one side of our garage - what a huge difference this made! They also uniquely designed a butler's pantry which added more space and character. My small kitchen feels so much bigger - I love it! They gave me several options within my budget which really helped me make my decisions. I would highly recommend these talented women - they both have wonderful ideas and helped incorporate my styles and opinions. The quality of their work - from design ideas to meeting my budget and deadlines were first class!

Julia and Michele did a wonderful job on my major kitchen renovation project! They were very easy to work with and attentive to all of my requests and queries. They are the best! we gutted our bathroom and the women at 514 knew just how to design a bathroom for a woman!!!!! It has been 3 years and I love it every day! Highly recommended! They also designed my new kitchen, guest bath, laundry room and bedroom closet and ditto! Women know women! They know the spaces we need; where we put things and that we need all the storage we can get!
