We were so happy we chose A B Graham Contracting to refinish our basement. The space went from a dungeon-like storage area to a beautiful finished playroom for our son, complete with a perfect little half bathroom! Andrew and his team always provided quick responses to all questions & communication, and worked with us throughout the process to help guide us toward the best solutions for any issues that arose. Andrew has a fantastic team of tradesmen - plumbing, flooring, & electric - and his finisher Tony paid great attention to detail and addressed all our concerns. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a friendly and knowledgeable contractor.

I hired A B Graham Contracting after getting several estimates for a master bathroom remodel from different contractors in the area. Andrew and his team did a great job. From the beginning, Andrew provided a detailed estimate for review and gave me as much information as possible up front before making my decision. The other contractors would only give me ballpark numbers. Andrew's estimate included a breakdown of what each activity would cost and why. Andrew was extremely responsive during the entire remodel and proactively communicated with me, even as I was on the other side of the country. He sent me update photos on a regular basis, which was really appreciated. Overall, I was satisfied and I would hire Andrew again for a future project. I am very happy with how the project turned out and I felt that he took the time to ensure I was comfortable with the work being performed and understood the different steps.

I hired Andrew to install new ceilings, crown molding, and new wiring and switches for overhead fixtures on the first floor of my house. The finished project is beautiful. Andrew, Jeff, and Joe were very professional. I am very impressed with the quality of their work and the care they took with my home. I am looking forward to working with them again on the next project.

Andrew, Jeff & Joe were wonderful! They removed an old shower and installed a beautiful new one. The tile work was first rate. They also did a great installation of 2 custom sinks. A few days after completion of the project we did notice one small problem; they came back within a couple of hours of my call and fixed it completely. We were in need of a Kitchen renovation and window replacement. Contacted a few contractors only to find out that their actions did not live up to their reviews. After much research along came A B Graham Contracting. His estimate was very detailed and spelled out what was included in the entire scope of the project. We hired him. Prior to the start of the project we needed a design for them to work from. With plans in hand, Andrew and his crew of Joe and Jeff came in and methodically went about the kitchen transformation. Over the course of several weeks our dream became reality. Their eye for detail and suggestions were welcomed and made for a better end product. The kitchen also flowed into doing the dining room. We gave them a blank canvas for that room and they nailed that renovation. As J. Rudy mentioned in her review, we experienced the same “When they saw something that didn't look right, they mentioned it to me and gave me their expert opinions.” Communications every step of the way as they take pride in their work and want to make it right. Andrew and his crew are the epitome of what a good, professional contractor should be. We started a major row home renovation that included renovating the entire first floor, adding a powder room and various jobs on the second floor and exterior of the home. The contractor I initially hired botched the job and had to be fired. No one wanted to come in and finish the job with the remaining budget. AB Contracting was a God send. Andrew and his crew came in and were able to finish the job. They are knowledgeable, dependable and reliable. I hope to do other projects with them in the future.

Drew and his crew are stellar! They are professional, clean and they communicate every step of the way. Never had a "surprise" invoice. Never came home to a mess. When they saw something that didn't look right, they mentioned It to me and gave me their expert opinions. I don't think I would have had such a great experience if it weren't for AB Graham. Looking forward to them doing more projects in my home soon!

I reached out to Andrew for a new storm door & new front door. He responded right away. Came out when he said he would and very diligent with follow up (which in my experience is difficult to come by with contractors). We received 2 different quotes and Andrew went as far as to work with us on price and ultimately - we went with him and could not be happier. The doors are beautiful! Him & his team were professional, friendly, and the final product looks incredible. I'd highly recommend him and will probably reach out to him when we are ready to install new windows. Very dependable and great communication.

We've worked with Andrew on two projects in our S Philly rowhouse -- replacing windows and a sliding glass door and renovating our bathroom. In both cases he was courteous, efficient, and his team did excellent work. He was also really flexible and accommodating about the scope of work as there were certain tasks that we felt comfortable taking on ourselves to save money on the project. I recommend him without reservation for any home renovation project.

My wife and I wanted to redo our family’s living room, like always I may have jumped the gun a little bit and started to demo. As demo progressed, I realized I was in over my head with this project. In a jam we called AB Graham Contractors and within 3 days with no notice Andrew and his crew started working. The project consisted of laying 400 + square feet of tile included all of the cement board and install baseboard. In the end the project exceeded our expectations, we absolutely love our new family room. Andrew and his crew were top-notch professionals. More than their ability to get the job done, they made us feel comfortable and informed throughout the entire renovation. Their craftsmanship and dedication to making the customer happy showed on this project. As a realtor I have seen my fair share of renovations, AB Graham went above and beyond my expectations. They are the company I would recommend to my family, friends and clients. In fact I already gave Andrew’s number to my include and I’m sure we will be having them back at our house sooner than later for other projects.

A B Contracting replaced a front entry door for me. Andrew answered all of my questions quickly; he was extremely responsive to emails and kept me updated in the weeks leading up to installation day. His team was professional and did an excellent job. When they left, they left the front entryway and the outside area cleaner than they found it. Through the entire process, Andrew demonstrated to me that he was very knowledgeable and cared about his work. I would definitely hire A B Contracting again!

My mother's vinyl windows were in need of repair. A friend of hers, recommended Andrew Graham. Andrew met with us on a Saturday to review the scope of the project. He was professional, thorough and extremely knowledgeable. He prepared a detailed estimate showing us various options and pricing for our needs. Andrew installed six vinyl windows in her home. He kept in constant touch with us during the project, he was always on time and he left her home spot less after the installation. We were extremely pleased with the results of the project and we highly recommend Andrew Graham.

I used Andrew Graham Contracting to completely remodel my kitchen this past April-June. Andrew and his team truly did a wonderful job and I am completely satisfied with my new kitchen. Working with Andrew was easy; he listened to what I wanted and was able to make suggestions which were good for me due to his extensive knowledge of code, products and technique. His team is very professional, friendly and they made it very comfortable to have them working daily in my home. My project had a lot of different components which Andrew and his team were able to complete beautifully from residing a portion of the house, plumbing, electrical, rebuilding a staircase, tiling, cabinet installation and trim work. I will most certainly be calling Andrew and his team for my next project.

We hired Andrew Graham to remodel our master bathroom and hall bath last summer. Andrew and his crew were very professional, on time, quality workmanship, met deadlines, and always cleaned up at the end of the day. Andrew is very knowledgeable about local codes and advised us on many matters, including answering a multitude of questions from my husband. I have recommended him to several friends in the area and will. Definitely use him again when future projects come up.

We had our house resided following Hurricane Sandy damage. He did a professional job. Most important was the attention to detail and quality of his work. All details and costs were documented and clearly explained. He demonstrated efficiency and competency. Also remained focused on our job before moving onto his next project. It has been over 3 years since this work was completed and we have not had one issue with any of the siding or fixtures or capping. We were so pleased with his thoroughness and quality of work, we hired him again for some handyman projects needed in our home. We would highly recommend for any projects, big or small.

A B Graham did an outstanding job converting my bathtub to a shower with integral seat and shelves and a frameless sliding shower door. The project took 3 days, plus a couple evenings to complete the detailed finishing work. Andrew (the owner) discussed all aspects of the work in advance, explaining alternative ways of accomplishing our goals with this project. He has a lot of knowledge of materials and products and was able to help us make choices that we are very happy with. His price was very reasonable and we are looking forward to having him do several other projects in our home. Andrew and his team are very skillful. They were very polite and happy to explain the work they were doing whenever we looked in to see how the project was going. They were careful to lay out canvas drop cloths wherever they were walking or working. At the end of each day they left the work area and our home clean, vacuuming floors, wiping down doors and handles, and picking up the drop cloths until the next day. As with any home remodeling project, they encountered unexpected obstacles during the project such as plumbing irregularities and material sizing challenges. They did a great job quickly solving each issue that came up, which is a tribute to their skill and experience. Their finishing work on the project was excellent, too. Dan was meticulous in applying layers of spackle to provide very smooth and square surfaces on all the walls surrounding the shower enclosure. The whole job was beautifully done and exceeding our expectations. We are looking forward to having Andrew and his team return to replace the floors in our kitchen, dining room, living room, and stairs. We are confident they will do as nice a job with that as they did with the bathroom. One quick note - I'm writing this review a few months after the work was completed (because in some ways I'm a terrible procrastinator). I can tell you we continue to be very satisfied with the work done on this project. It not only looks nice, it functions very well and has proved to be solid, durable, and easy to keep clean.

I'm an Interior Decorator who was asked to completely gut and re-do one bathroom and redesign another in a client's home--at the same time. Andrew was outstanding in him communication with me and the client, went above and beyond anything required to keep everyone happy, went out of his way to help out when I was unable to pick something up, worked with me on all aspects of the projects and made recommendations but no judgements. He is honest, hard working, well mannered, polite, appropriate, kind, and an all around great guy. His workers were all professionals and reliable and kind as well. I will definitely hire him again to work with me and my clients in the future.

Cabinets by Amy & Lauren has been working with Andrew for the past 3 years. Andrew is an honest, fair priced and hard working contractor which is very hard to find. We work great together on a lot of different projects we design and he installs. Andrew and his team do clean - beautiful work and the clients are always happy which is the most important part of the job. We love working with him and whenever we need install he is our guy!

What is important in picking a contractor?? Just like picking a spouse or a new job, you need to feel comfortable with that person and feel that you can work together to achieve your desired goals. You will be spending money and you will be looking at your remodel for many many years to come. It is important to find someone that you can connect with and trust. I interviewed 4 contractors for my kitchen renovation before I chose AB Graham Contracting. I did not feel comfortable with the majority of the contractors who came to my home. Mostly it was because they lacked communication skills. They were either too quiet or too overbearing and did not allow for my input. Andrew is very professional respectful and works with his clients to achieve the desired goal. Andrew is an excellent people person and knows how to work with people and knows how to handle challenging situations because they will definitely come up. It's part of the nature of the business. Not only is Andrew very sharp, he is also very detail oriented. This is what you want in a contractor - someone who pays attention to detail!! He is creative and has an excellent eye for aesthetics. A lot of contractors are nuts and bolts with a hammer. It is important to have an eye for detail and aesthetics with a softer touch. He and his team work quickly and keep the work area tidy. My kitchen renovation went very smoothly from the planning stages up until the final finishing touches. He and his team also installed very large energy efficient windows in my living room that completely altered the look and feel of the room in an incredible way. I am already planning to invite them back for bathroom renovations. I would recommend AB Graham contracting. He has everything that you want in a contractor: excellent communication skills, attentive to the customer, high standards of work quality, timely and respectful.
