Sciarappa Construction

I contacted Sciarappa Construction in June 2020 to obtain an estimate to finish my my basement. John Sciarappa came to my home on 6/11/20 and went over the project with me in detail. I was very impressed with his professionalism. He took extensive measurements and even made a video of my basement on his phone so that his estimating department would be able to see the actual space. He said it would take a week or so to get back to me with an estimate. On 6/23/20, John called me and apologized for the delay and said that my project was the next one the estimating department would be working on. I did not hear from anyone from their company until August 3 when I received a text message from Jeremy asking for my email address in order to send me my estimate. When I received the estimate, it was not even for my project. I waited 2 months and received someone else's estimate. I did not bother to respond.

Having your kitchen remodel has a way of turning your house upside down. You never really appreciate how much you rely on it till you don’t have it. That being said, Sciarappa Construction went out of their way to minimize the disruption. They “insulated” us from much of the mess – far better than any other contractor we have used to date. They took the time in the design phase to understand our unique requirements and then truly executed during the construction phase. I didn’t feel like we had a builder redoing our kitchen but a craftsman. Their experience helped us deal problems along the way and were able to provide creative solutions allowing us to still get what we wanted. Throughout the entire process they felt like a partner more than a contractor – helping us, guiding us, being an advocate with suppliers, and in the end delivering beyond expectation. What can we say…the Sciarappa Construction is AWESOME. They treated our home like it was their own. We are extremely happy with our updated Kitchen and would absolutely recommend them to our friends.

A friend of mine recently recommended Sciarappa Construction for my bathroom renovation. I was very impressed with the whole process and time frame from estimate to completion. I especially appreciated the use of selectable material allowances for each item provided to me. It made it extremely easy to choose the product and finishes I wanted and allowed me to stay within budget. I would highly recommend Sciarappa Construction to anyone considering a remodel or renovation.

I would give a negative review if possible. Lowe’s hired Sciarappa for our whole house remodel, flooring, kitchens, 2 bathrooms in Oct. 2017. Work began Nove. 2017 and is not complete in Oct. 2018. Workmanship is shoddy and we will have to hire someone else to complete the project. Sciarappa refused to correct mistakes or complete work they began.

Sciarappa were hired through Lowes to install our windows and new door. They did and excellent job, were polite and went above and beyond in making the installation custom to our needs. We just got a bid from them to do another job, and will be hiring them most certainly.
