In the summer of 2019, we made a deliberate decision to add an elevator to our 2-story house. With our diminishing ability to climb stairs, we felt it was the best way for us to “Age in Place” and stay in our home of 13 years. The project, built between April and June 2020, created an outside hoistway for a specific interior elevator. Our exterior balcony was converted into an interior hallway as a conduit to the upstairs rooms. We chose Alair Homes Chandler because of their reputation and prior elevator experience. They were responsive to our initial requests, willing to take on a project in Maricopa, and were very professional and focused. Jeff Gorszczyk, managing partner of Alair, became our project manager. Throughout the planning, design, permits, construction, finishing, and interfacing with our elevator company, he kept us informed, updated of what was happening and what to expect. Jeff always had his subcontractors ready for each phase of construction. The selected subcontractors all expressed a high respect for Alair and working for Jeff who had high expectations of them. The addition of the hoistway blended perfectly with our original building and was readily approved by our HOA. The interior dimensions of the new hoistway met the precise requirements of the elevator company. I would give Jeff the highest marks for managing our project, coming in on time and on budget. I also give my highest recommendation of Alair Homes Chandler for your home construction project.

We highly recommend Jeff Gorszczyk (Alair) for any remodel project. This is the 2nd project Jeff has done for us. We had 2 bathrooms remodeled in July 2017 and now our kitchen. Great advice and suggestions and we came in on budget!

Jeff Gorszczyk and Dan Goglio have been terrific to work with. Very professional. They both made sure that we were happy with our two bathroom remodels. Going above and beyond to make everything right. We are very pleased with the results and love the new look. They made the process easy, keeping the work flowing according to schedule and kept us on budget. Jeff had a sub-contractor redo some work to bring it up to his standards. He was more critical than we were. Great at looking out for us!

We found Jeff to be very professional and efficient to work with. We found his suggestions to be very helpful and creative in assisting us with our ideas. We very much appreciated his keeping us informed on the progress of our project. The fact that we were out of state when the project was being completed the Alair website was a very efficient tool to keep us informed. We had complete faith in the honesty and integrity in working with Jeff. Finally, we were very satisfied with the finished project and the quality of the workmanship.

Our family room looked dated and unfinished as the builder mandated "cutouts" on the wall. A friend, an outdoor contractor, recommended Jeff to us. He came by to look and provided us with ideas as to different directions we could go. We needed that input for a starting point, and the drawings he made were helpful. After deciding on a design, we had choices to make in materials, electrical additions, and audio. He provided experience and input into the selections we made. Some work was done by subcontractors. The job was started on time and Jeff regularly showed up to check the status of subs and ensure the work was to our satisfaction. The work was completed in a timely fashion with the only delay being materials held up from a vendor. Extra care was done to mitigate dust from tile removal and provide a daily cleanup. The finished project is stunning - even better than we envisioned! We've received countless compliments, and Jeff checked to see we were satisfied every step of the way. He didn't sell us anything we didn't want, and created a budget that we could access at all times. We're ecstatic about our renovation and highly recommend Jeff and his services!

Working with Jeff was an unexpected pleasure. Unlike 99% of contractors Jeff's service and professionalism are unprecedented. Our extensive remodel project was completed on time and on budget with no surprises. Jeff kept us abreast of construction activities and returned phone calls / e-mails often times within the hour. The quality of work Jeff and his sub-contractors completed was also of the highest caliber. I could not recommend him more!

Our formal dining area (now the playroom) needed a small facelift so we had Jeff G. from Alair install a shiplap wall and ceiling fan for us. In less than 4 hours, Jeff had installed the boards and fan and it made a huge difference! Jeff was very friendly and easy to work with. He does great work and I highly recommend using his services!
