Alturas Homes

I think Altura used to be a custom quality home builder, however, we recently purchased a home in 2018 and the quality and attention to detail is terrible!!! I think they grew to quickly and lost their personal touch. The customer service has basically been “deal with it, we are to busy”. I would never recommend them.

We are currently building with Alturas, and I can not tell you how happy we are. They have taken care of any problem that has come up, in a professional and timely manner. Their staff is excellent to work with, professional, yet personable, and our home is beautiful. They really get it! We have and will recommend Alturas to anyone and everyone.

I'm not even sure where to start here. I could write a small book about this experience. I've built before. I've seen some shady stuff done. So when one of Alturas' Realtor reps told me that they had clients that have said "show potential customers MY house, I'll go to bat for you guys, you did such a great job", I just figured he was making it up. I was wrong. I'd never met a builder that was actually out to make my home a work of art to be proud of. Alturas built my family and I a house while we lived on the other side of the country. They could have cut all kinds of corners. They didn't. They were so great to work with. I had everyone's cell phone numbers. They were available to talk to me via phone, Skype, or desktop share whenever I wanted. I got to FaceTime with the builder to see my house whenever I wanted. They worked my wife's and my requests in (including custom, one of a kind cabinetry) and charged reasonable amounts when it was required. Alturas built my family our dream home. They've been in frequent contact with us since, and we could not be happier. If you want to talk to a real Alturas client, they know how to get ahold of me. Build with them. You will never regret it.

Alturas built our custom home for us. We've lived in it for almost two years now and still love every part of it. They were a great company to work with. We came to them with our own set of plans and they helped with all the final details. Our home was finished in a timely manner. I would strongly recommend Alturas Homes.

During the construction phase, the crew from Alturas Homes were very professional, trustworthy and dependable. The home design, floor plan and quality of materials used throughout our home is excellent. My wife along with our three children and I absolutely love our Alturas Home! --And, we look forward to sharing many cherished memories for many years to come . . . Would we purchase an Alturas Home again? The answer is Yes! --Without a doubt, our next home will also be an Alturas Home! Rod Givens, President at Alturas Home worked with my wife and I to make some minor modifications to our home and he was excellent to work with and I highly recommend Alturas Homes!

Alturas was excellent! Their estimates on time and cost were very accurate. They were honest, attentive, and available. They made us feel like we were their only customer. I would recommend them to anyone.

Alturas Homes is an excellent building company. They work one on one with you in the planning phase of your home. They spend countless hours making sure your home is what you want as well as helping to keep it within your budget. We were able to visit our home while it was being built and if we found something that didn't seem right, Alturas was prompt with making it right. We love how our house turned out and had a wonderful experience building with them.

Rod and the Alturas team were great to work with. Every concern that we had during the build process was dealt with quickly and effortlessly on our part. We also have called them back during the past year to fix minor issues and they responded quickly and respectively. I cannot recommend Alturas high enough. Fantastic company!

I hired Alturas Homes to build a house with a floor plan they showed me from a model home. We have several meetings to determine all of the particulars before we started all the planning. The whole process was very smooth, friendly and consistent. There was never any question as to what we were getting nor any hidden items or costs that we were not aware of. Rod Givens was extremely helpful and flexible until we were happy with the layout. All the designs meeting were easy, as we had all of the design info before hand to make and review all our choices, The designer insured all our choices worked well together. Once the Building started the project manager Zach treated it like it was his own house and insured all issues were corrected and the house was built to the plan. We are very happy with the quality of work and the attention to detail we received. I would highly recommend this Builder to anyone looking for a great quality product and a very rewarding home building process.

Building a home with Alturas was a completely pleasurable project. I would use them again over and over and recommend them to anyone building a house.

My husband and I had our custom home built by Alturas Homes. They came highly recommended by a past client. We definitely made the right choice for our building project. Everyone was very professional and easy to work with. Our home was completed ahead of schedule and under budget. Larry, our site supervisor was at the house almost daily, and was always reachable by phone if we had any questions. He was great. Alturas used highly qualified and experienced subcontractors.. We had a highly complex design and it was brought to life with no issues. Of special note was the beautiful finish carpentry work done by Tim and Calvin. Selecting the finishes for the home was made easy with the help of Scott and Alysse Matthews, a designer, who works with Alturas. The Alturas team worked with the Architectural Review Committee from our Homeowners Assoc. and maintained good relations with the HOA and neighbors during the construction. We recommend Alturas to build your dream home.
