Amaro Builders Inc.

We signed the contract in Late October 2021. 60% deposit. Said it would be 5-6 weeks once they started. Started in February 2022. Bathroom remodel. Finished in July....well sort of finished. They never came back once the bathroom was supposed to be finished for a final walk through. They ruined the carpet in the bedroom, did not send a cleaning crew, and failed to come address the finish issues. WE HAVE NOW CHOSEN NOT TO HAVE THEM COME BACK. I ended up calling every day from the start to finish, to find out if anyone was coming that day. Many days they didn't show up and never called to tell us they weren't coming. I became the project manager....they had none. If you speak spanish this is about the only way to communicate with them....virtually all of their employees and contractors (yes they use contractors even though Carolina said they don't) speak only spanish. This is a company that has over committed and under delivers. Avoid.

WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. I have paid them $90,000 to complete a reno job on a condo in Naples. Hired July 2022 Completion date on contract Dec 01 2022. As of April 2023, the condo has been completely demolished, but very little renovating has been completed. The builder does not show up to work, does not reply to phone calls, or texts. He has repeatedly left my home unlocked and front door hanging wide open. When I am able to track them down, they repeatedly make promises and then do not show up to the job. It's obvious this builder is in over his head and is struggling. Do Not Hire AMARO BUILDERS.

Going on 8 months since giving a deposit of 19,950.00 and work not really started..see photos. We have lost all faith and hope in Amaro Builders. Words and appointments not kept. They have held our money and lives hostage for the past 8 months. No responses to emails, dont answer phone calls and no return calls. Only response was after posting a bad review resulting in 2 workers showing up 4 hours late unloaded about a dozen 2x4,s. Few days later 2 workers show up again over 2 hours late..nailed a few boards together then.....ghost again. Although we were requested by AMARO BUILDERS to remove the negative review which was immediately done thinking that was to begin work on our project. We have requested a refund which has received the same as other communications ...nothing...ghosted again. I fully intend to share my experience loud and clear until complete resolution

One of the best things about Amaro Builders is that all of the various trade crafts for remodeling are under one company. This allows Amaro to easily plan and schedule all the work that is necessary. Amaro assisted in the architectural drawings and all the required permits. All of the workers were very professional. The office staff especially, were always helpful and responsive in getting answers to any questions that came up. Finally, the quality of all the work such as framing, drywall, electrical, sprinkler head fire protection, woodworking, and painting was excellent. I highly recommend Amaro for any remodeling work.
