Anvil & Oak creates modern industrial furniture with a touch of rusticity for indoor and outdoor use. One should never have to sacrifice durability for beauty. Our philosophy is built into every piece we make. All of my life I watched my father carry his anvil in and out of the barn and to the truck as he worked as a farrier. His back bent under the pressure of holding the heavy tool he proudly carried it as he made an honest living doing what he loved. That is why when I decided to start making outdoor furniture to compliment my landscaping work, I remembered my father. As a result, Anvil & Oak was born. A tribute to his hard working legacy. Creating landscape for over 20 years has given me the ability to share my artistry with others. Now, designing handmade, beautiful and durable furniture has given me yet another way to share my industry and vision with others. I love working with my hands and creating. I hope that you all enjoy my work as much as I do. Each piece is custom made to order. Most products will take 2-4 weeks to build unless noted otherwise.
