ARC Electric Company is a Christian based, locally owned and operated electrical contracting business that was opened in the Spring of 1976 by Larry Harrill. At that time, Larry’s primary focus was residential electrical service. Larry had a strong background in large commercial electrical service, so it was only a matter of time before ARC Electric Company expanded to include commercial electrical service work. Chris Harrill, Larry’s son, joined the company in 1992 and together they worked to strengthen the solid reputation that ARC Electric Company had built in the Charlotte area. Ultimately, Chris took over running the company and Larry became a consultant; by 2012, Larry had officially retired but he would still drop by the office quite frequently. In 2013, Chris Harrill and ARC Electric Company brought CurrentSAFE® Electrical Hazard Detection testing to North and South Carolina homeowners. As a whole, ARC Electric has been concerned about electrical hazards within your home; with CurrentSAFE® Electrical Hazard Detection testing we have the technology and trained electricians that can uncover potential hazards before they endanger you and your family. Sadly, in the fall of 2017 Larry Harrill passed away. Larry was one in a million; he is greatly missed by the entire ARC Electric Company staff!
