About Us

I began to develop my aesthetic for unique and quality home furnishings during my childhood alongside my designer/artist mother. Over the past two years, I have been successfully managing estate sales out of my garage, selling antiques, rugs, fine-art, and gently-used vintage home decor, and as a Nashville native, I was able to reach many prospective buyers and sellers. However, it soon became apparent that while many people have home furnishings and art that they would like to put up for adoption, most dislike the hassle of estate sales and consignment stores. I decided that Nashville needed an online marketplace for design-loving locals who want to sell old valuables or buy new ones with confidence in both the quality of the products and the transaction. Thus, Area 2 Trading Company was born. I carefully review each submission so that you see only the finest of finds at fair prices that are carefully researched.

I hired Area 2 Trading Co. at a time when we were moving into a new home and needed to sell some of our existing furnishings. They were so professional and sold our items quickly! We received our checks promptly and were so pleased with the entire process. We've actually hired them post- move to sell a few more items! Highly recommend!!! Great company!!!

Liza has an amazing eye for furniture and art and is very selective with the pieces she chooses. There is always a very high end selection at great prices. You can talk to Liza directly for additional details and even take home pieces to try before you buy. I always look forward to looking online to see what new items are for sale. I have purchased 3 barstools from her and a beautiful plate rack - both items always receive compliments from friends.

Area 2 Trading Company provides carefully selected, high-end inventory at amazing price points. I had a wonderful experience with Liza Eady, when I was looking for 2 loveseats for my living room. I was able to purchase my Sherrill loveseats through her website and have been thrilled with my results! I highly recommend this company to anyone!

My first experience with Area 2 Trading Company was accidental. I had just moved into a new home and had very few items. I had just hooked up with a designer and no plans for type of decor had been made. I went to the sale mostly to get some ideas. I was amazed at the quality and pricing . I called my designer to rush over and confirm the items I wanted would work in the house. She was very impressed with the items. I spent about $ 10,000 on a huge number of nice authentic pieces. I have since then listed a few items to sell. The process has been easy. I feel I will get a good deal on them.

This is my first shop for all furniture and art. The prices are incredible and you can't beat the quality. I haven't sold with them, but I'm planning on it when we remodel our home.
