I would not recommend Arley Wholesale in Scranton. I genuinely try to support small businesses over big-box stores, but this experience left me regretting that choice. Their showroom is impressive and full of beautiful displays, and our design expert, Erin, was great to work with during the purchasing phase. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. We purchased tile for our shower walls, shower floor, and kitchen backsplash. The problems began immediately. When our installer went to pick up the order, he returned without the backsplash tile. After waiting a full day with no update, I called and learned that the wrong product had been ordered. Mistakes happen, but the lack of communication was frustrating. Once installation began, the quality and quality control issues became impossible to ignore. Out of seven cases of shower wall tile, we had roughly 2 cases of damaged pieces. Even after purchasing about 25% extra, we ended up with only one spare tile. Anyone buying from Arley should plan on ordering 25–30% overage just to compensate for defects. The shower floor tile was an even bigger concern. Our installer refused to use it, calling it a liability. When we inspected it ourselves, it was clear the product did not match the sample we had been shown and I may have received the wrong product. When I spoke with Lynn, the Showroom Manager, about returning it, the focus was immediately on their 25% restocking fee—not on the fact that the product was misrepresented. I was even told that because it was installed in one of their showroom displays, it should be acceptable for my shower. That response did not inspire confidence. The kitchen backsplash tile had similar issues. Out of three cases, about one full case’s worth was damaged. Lynn did reorder a replacement case, but repeatedly emphasized that in her ten years at Arley she had never seen damage like this. Ironically, when my wife went to pick up the backsplash tile, she was behind a contractor returning product due to damage. Again, the pattern speaks for itself. Beyond the product issues, the service after purchase was disappointing. I left multiple messages, was promised return calls that never came, and repeatedly had to chase down answers myself. It left me wondering whether they prioritize their wholesale accounts and view individual homeowners as an afterthought. Overall, I cannot recommend Arley Wholesale. The quality and quality control were poor for the price point, and the customer service declined sharply once the sale was made. Save yourself the frustration, time, and added expense—I would steer clear of Arley Wholesale in Scranton.

Arley Wholesale provided faulty tile for our project. They are underestimating the cost of repairing their faulty product and are not owning up to make the situation right. Extremely disappointed in their management. If I were you, I would simply do business with someone else. It's not worth the headache of dealing with dishonest providers.

I cant begin to tell you how pleased i am with Arley Wholesale,Jay and there whole staff,Jay is very talented and has a keen eye for design plus he was able to show my wife and i a great design but was able to help us save money too. Cassel Building Contractors uses Arley Wholesale for all of our tile projects. The showroom is full of great design ideas and the sales people are very helpful. They have worked with many of our customers over the years and the finished product always turns out amazing.

We first chose Arley when we initially built our home, and went back to them when we underwent an addition. The best part of the experience was our sales professional, Jay. He was able to match our taste and the style of our house to a selection among the many high-end and beautifully designed materials they offer. We highly recommend Arley Wholesale for their wide selection of tile and phenomenal and personable staff.

We have purchased tile from Arley Wholesale to use in different projects. Their showroom is a great place to visit for inspiration and also to see how different tile designs and grout look . We used the subway carrera marble tiles for a kitchen backsplash and it came out great! Their recommendation for color and type of grout to use was also spot on!

Previously, I shopped the big box stores for my renovation projects. It was very difficult to find that “unique” tile that I absolutely loved. After 3 weeks of searching everywhere, I walked into Arley and my mind instantly screamed YES, YES, YES!!! I knew immediately that my search was finally over. Jay’s help was priceless. I explained the colors/finishes in my new kitchen and the look I wanted to achieve. His suggestions were exactly what I had envisioned, only better. I went to Jay’s desk to finalize the order and asked how long it would take for the tile to come in. WHAT??? YOU HAVE IT IN STOCK??? Just pull my car to the dock area and they will load my order? It just doesn't get any better….or does it? I was already thinking of how I would tell my husband how much I spent on this back-splash. Another WHAT??? moment. To my delight the mosaic glass tile was more reasonable than any tile I had purchased at the big boxes. I have received so many compliments and everyone asks where I got the tile. Thank you, thank you, thank you Jay and Arley. You've made my job so much easier. You are my go to for all future projects.

Came into Arley. Never been here before. Picked out tile. Jay was very helpful, knowledge, friendly, and courteous. Arley is a remarkable place. So much to choose from - so many wonderful displays and such nice people to work with. Will definitely be back and spread the word about this company.

We were putting in a new kitchen and Mariette Lumber who designed our kitchen said to go Arley for backsplash. Having not looked anywhere else, I was thrilled at their help and knowledge and suggestions. Big decision but everyone was so helpful. I would recommend them highly. Very happy ww/our choice.

We recently remodeled our master bathroom. Our consultant, Donelle Magnottta, was both knowledgeable and professional. Her expertise was apparent as she offered different options from style to color. She was able to answer our questions and provided timely service. Our new bathroom looks outstanding!
