Nancy did a wonderful design for our new driveway, deck, flagstone patio and associated beds. She also addressed the drainage and functional issue we had with the old layout and pavements and incorporated solutions into the design. She does a great job of listening to our concerns and desires throughout the design and construction process.

Nancy and the staff working on our job were very creative and professional. I had one-third of our back yard covered in flagstones with a small waterfall feature added -- we love it! Nancy's style is very upfront, which I like, and works very consciously within the budget given, and trustworthy . When I am ready for other landscaping, Art of the Land will be my "go to" company.

”Art of the Land put in both hardscape for my home, (driveway, walkway, porch and steps, sprinklers, walkways to the rear) and created a lovely border and side garden. I've been very pleased with the work and it has held up beautifully for the last three years. Of the more than 100 plants used, one tree started to look bad, and they came back and replaced it the following summer. We feel the price paid was more than compensated for by the increase in value of the property.”

It was my desire was to have outdoor living space that was easy to maintain and worked with existing house and other small structures on the property. I wish there were a 10 star rating for Art of the Land from design through construction. The entire front and backyard was redone, including installation of a new sprinkler system, paving, new sod, all new plants (that are low maintenance), and new trees. i have color in my yard, almost year round, and the curb appeal to a 60's brick ranch has never been better. I look forward to extending my dream outdoor space with Art of the Land in the future.

I hired Art of the Land to completely redo my court yard...this included decreasing the size of a wooden deck, replacing the wood facing on the two side fences, all the irrigation, a tree, multiple shrubs and perennials, a flagstone hardscape area, and a stone fountain. They listened to what I wanted and we came up with a great design, it was executed professionally, and I couldn't love it more (see pictures on their web site). Well worth the money.

The design and construction flag stone of a front patio and 18" high sandstone wall patio to serve as "front porch" for visiting with neighbors with painting areas on three sides. Replacing the old concrete driveway with brick pavers edged by flag stone and a sandstone low planting wall. Both the "front porch area and sides of the driveway were redesigned and replanted. The low planted wall separating the flag stone patios was edge by cobble stone planter wall using material on site. The existing planted area was enhanced with the selective addition of of a couple of ornamental trees similar to those used in the front yard re-landscaping.

Architects choose Nancy and her team at Art of the Land to do everything from a custom labyrinth, water features, exquisitely curved walls and art installations to sustainable environments because she understands design and quality work. What an honor it has been to photograph the finished projects! Often while I'm capturing projects her clients like to come outside and tell me how much they like their new terrace, front walk and driveway or even how many more birds visit their yard. Honestly that makes my profession so enjoyable.
