I stumbled upon Atmosphere Home Essentials shortly after moving into our new house in Birmingham. Upon entering the store, we fell in love instantly with the modern furniture, chic accents, and clean lines as well as the eccentric goodies that will leave a smile on your face. It was complete Fate for my husband and I to find a store filled wth exactly what we wished to fill our house with, and to also agree on this! But this was just the start of it all... then we met the store owner and designer-extrodinaire, Barri. I would have bought everything in the store but had no idea what to do with it. Barri met with us and not only exceeded our design goals, but also took great care in getting to know our budget and priorities. This was uber important as we started to outfit our new home where we soon would be welcoming our newest addition. I will never buy another piece of cheaply-made furniture or a piece that I will end up shoving to the side thanks to Barri's expertise and vision. Not only is the store itself stocked with wonderful goodies, but Barri has access to an endless variety of lines to fit anyone's taste and will hold your hand on the way. I also now call Atmosphere "home," as on gloomy days I can always walk in, feel welcome and find some new cool thing to take home to add some sunshine. If you are in the area, this is a "must-see" shop that will leave every sense fulfilled. If you are in need of design direction, Barri is the best in the city and truly a joy to work with! Don't miss out on this little piece of Heaven that will beckon you back time and time again!

I feel incredibly blessed to have meet Barri, and know her store- Atmosphere Home Essentials. There is not another designer I would consider when it comes to my home. Barri is not only experienced, proffesional, and extremely talanted, but most importantly I trust her with my most important possession my home. Barris store Atmosphere offers a variety of amazing, high quality, and affordable furninture and accesories. Barri has been so wonderful at helping me to put together my loft downtown. I have purchased multiple items from the store and could not be any happier. For anyone lucky enough to be considering help in designing their home, or just buying new furniture. Like a great designer, Atmosphere took into consideration our style, current furniture as well as our budget. Barri always gave us options and listened to what we were hoping to achieve. She always has fresh and updated ideas and furniture pieces that work with items that you already own. Or if you want to start anew, she is the store and person to get you started. The contractors that she worked with for our design projects were very professional and did amazing work. From the first pieces of furniture she helped us order 6 years ago to the current bathroom re-do and nursery project, the consistency and professionalism has been a joy to work with and has given us amazing results. We will continue to use Atmosphere for all of our designing, decorating and furniture needs to achieve our perfect and comfortable home environment.
