Robbie is an amazing designer. He is intuitive and lock step in sync with client needs. His communication style is casual yet informed. He thinks through every detail and is clearly passionate about his clients, the artisans he works with and the intentionality behind each and every detail. Robbie's passion is art and design and he seamlessly curates both visually and conceptually to meet the client needs. He goes above and beyond. I recently worked with Aubrey Maxwell to furnish my new home. I highly recommend working with Robbie and Marcus based on the following: - They provided individualized service and great insights based on many years of experience in the furniture industry. - They crafted a road map for choosing the right furniture by first establishing the ideal placement and scale for each setting. - My budget was not endless, but they found ways to mix less expensive, good design with a few more pricey impact pieces. The overall result is a home that feels more high end than the actual price tag. - Art placement was key. Robbie and Marcus helped me determine the right placement and spacing for pieces I currently own, but also where to leave spaces open for future acquisitions when the right piece comes along. - Robbie and Marcus have great senses of humor and made the entire process a collaborative pleasure.

Amazing local designer! AubreyMaxwell completed two model homes in my client's new luxury condominium building in San Francisco's Mission District. Everything is locally sourced. The craftsmanship and artistry is beyond exceptional. We are thrilled! We selected AubreyMaxwell to work on Rowan, our latest condominium building in the Mission district in SF. We couldn’t be happier with the end result! Right from the start, Robbie and team connected to the architectural design and industrial chic vibe of the building, and they quickly developed a set of proposals that truly hit the mark. Their approach to the Sales Gallery design was so unique and refreshing with a custom cabinet wall inspired by shipping crates and 25' long woven rope pendants suspended from the 16' tall ceiling. Their focus on highlighting local artists, makers and businesses continues into the two model homes in the building. Working with local galleries and artists, AubreyMaxwell curated over 30 pieces of original artwork for the models. The compelling works of art on display, combined with the custom-designed furniture and lighting pieces throughout have made these model homes extraordinarily unique and intimate. We're excited to have developed this relationship with AubreyMaxwell and look forward to working with them again on future projects.

Robbie has exceptional taste and an ability to see the big picture. He listens to how you plan to use a space, what your preferences are and then takes that to a place you could never have imagined. He mixes materials, textures, art and furniture to create truly unique one of a kind rooms. His resources are eclectic so his design solutions are totally custom.
