From our first meeting with Joe to discuss the project to the completion of the bathroom remodel Joe and his workers demonstrated the high standards that you want for someone working in your house. Everyone was respectful, friendly, and very professional. Communication is great and the guys are there to answer any question you might have. Now that the project is complete, we couldn’t be happier with the job that Joe Wasler & his staff at Bayern Builders Inc did. It all started with a water leak into the neighbor's condo below me. I knew it was time for a badly needed remodel of my master bedroom and bath. I contacted five companies for estimates. Three companies came out to look at the project in order to prepare an estimate. The only company that followed through was Bayern Builders. Joe and his team were excellent. Joe suggested suppliers for materials needed. He made suggestions (although a little reluctantly) for remodel ideas that turned out wonderful. He kept me informed and updated all the way through the project. His team of people were on time, cleaned up after themselves at the end of the day, and did excellent work. I am thrilled with the final results. I would definitely use them again and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing quality work.

Joe and his dedicated team performed a complete kitchen overhaul as well as several lower level home improvements ( sanding and refinishing all hard wood floors, painting most of the lower level ,removing pillars, adding crown molding etc. The job was performed to a high standard in all aspects . The cabinets were well made and look great . The floors look like brand new . I would highly recommend Joe and team for any and all home improvement projects .

We are very happy with the work Joe and his team did for us. Joe and his team were great thru the whole process. They kept us informed of the schedule of our kitchen remodel. Phil and Don were great with doing their best to keep the construction area as clean as possible. They were also amazing with our two young daughters and understanding that we had to still get to fridge in construction area. Pete worked with us on the electrical side of the project and talked us thru location of outlets and light switches. Jerry did a great job with our hard wood floors and replacing the banister looking into our front room. John was great with helping us pick out new wall colors and painting our new kitchen. It was a great experience and would recommend Joe and his team to anyone that is looking to complete any remodel job they need to complete.

Joe and his team just finished remodeling our kitchen. The results could not have been better, nor the transition from old to new any easier to live with. Bob and Pete were the electricians that put in all new wiring and lighting. Even the nasty snow storm didn't keep them from their part in the project. Jan the painter and his worker did a great job with painting and making sure the colors were just right. Joe and his people made sure the work area was clean and neat during and after each day's work. We could not be happier with the finished product. Bayern Builders, owned and operated by Joe Wasler, has completed 3 major remodeling projects in our home. It was a terrific experience each time! We started with a total tear-out and remodel of our pantry/mudroom/laundry room area. A year later, we did the full kitchen, and another year later, we did the master bedroom and complete tear out of the master bath. Joe and his crew are amazing to work with and have in your home. While these were major and messy projects, we were able to live in our home during all three of them. Joe gives fair and timely estimates, helps to tweak plans, and works extremely hard to bring your vision to life. His ability to schedule the sequence of tasks is spot on and all three of our projects stayed within budget and estimated time-frame. His crew are such wonderful people and easy to have in your home. My experience with Bayern Builders is not a new one. I have had Bayern Builders for three previous remodel projects in my home. It is a company with high standards, integrity, honest, friendly and competitive prices. This project was the second kitchen completed by Bayern Builders plus fireplace whitewash. In the past they also remodeled three bathrooms. Their workmanship is performed by experienced and skilled people who strive for satisfaction. Friends that have hired Bayern Builders have been quite satisfied with their work. I highly recommend Bayern Builders for any home project.

Bayern Builders has employed an extremely excellent team of professionals working for them. Whether it's their direct employees or the subcontractors that they hire, the quality of their work product can be said to be nothing by excellent. Everyone that worked on my project (a 1960 Kitchen and Bath renewal), took care and pride to provide the best possible results. Working in a house that is 63 years old can be challenging. Building practices in the 50's and 60's was much different than they are today. This is not to say that a house built in 1960 is inferior, just that it makes reworking an older home more difficult. The Bayern Builders team was able to change an ugly duckling into a swan!

We knew our kitchen/first floor reno was in good hands the moment Joe walked into our home and made suggestions. My wife and I are so glad to have found Joe Wasler at Bayern Builders. After contacting 13 remodeling contractors, of which, six returned my initial phone call for our Bedroom Remodeling job. Out of the six, only four of them came to our home and gave us a proposal. Joe was one of the four. Right from the start, we knew that Joe was trustworthy, honest and offered some great suggestions. We decided to do a pull-n-replace. Joe had no problem with our decision. He and his subcontractors were very trusting and respectful of our home EVERY DAY they were on the job. From start to finish the communication was excellent and any unforeseen issues were quickly discussed with a plan developed to move forward. Bayern remodeled our master bathroom and we couldn’t be happier. It went from 1980’s oversized jacuzzi tub to walk-in “car wash” shower. We most appreciated the constant communication and attention to detail.

Bayern Builders renovated my kitchen - new cabinets, appliances, countertops and refinished the first floor hardwood. Also, the door trim and baseboards were replaced. Joe is very easy to work with. He communicates extremely well. He is very responsive. His crew is polite and professional. They always left the work area clean and tidy at the end of the work week. They skillfully completed all the work on time and within budget. Also, Joe's recommended sub-contractors were also very good. I will be hiring Joe for future projects.

We hired Joe and his team to remodel our family room. Updated fireplace. Converted to a gas fireplace with a custom mantle, installed custom cabinets and floating shelves with lighting. Joe suggested adding crown molding and new baseboards. Thrilled with the finished room and the quality of work from Joe and his team! Also impressed with how the team cleaned up before leaving each day. Added updating the hallway installing new doors and casing in the entry to the hall. Beautiful! Joe and his team did a great job remodeling our kitchen. The cost and scheduling were reasonable and Joe was very easy to work with and to communicate with. What he said he would do, he did with no surprises. The professionalism of his team and the quality of their work were outstanding. They paid attention to ever little detail and the final product reflects their excellent workmanship and craftsmanship. The Tri-Star cabinets are of the highest quality and at a reasonable cost. The Tri-Star representative who laid out the kitchen design was knowledgeable, flexible and a pleasure to work with. With no hesitation we would go back to Joe for other projects.

I had a project covered by insurance and Bayern Builders(BB) came out quickly to provide a quote. BB provided a detailed quote that covered everything I knew about and more that I never expected. When the quote was submitted to the insurance company it was dead on and quickly approved. Work began quickly and finished quickly with no problems and a great job done. BB was great to work with through this process with steady communication. I was very pleased with the quality of the work and the workers doing the repairs. I would use BB again and would recommend them to anyone, homeowners or businesses, regardless of project size. What a hassle free and uncomplicated project BB made this for me. We just had our second major remodeling project completed by Bayern Builders' amazing team. The first was a kitchen/dining room/family room back in 2018. The work was so impressive that hiring Joe and his crew to complete our dream master bedroom and bathroom suite was an easy decision. We went from two dark, dreary 1970s bedrooms with a tiny bathroom to a bright, open master bedroom with his and her walk-in closets and a spa-like bathroom. The entire feel of this remodel reminds us of now going to bed every night in a 5-star resort. To say we are pleased with the results is an understatement. Joe, Mark, Phil, Ed, Don, Mark "the tile guy" and Bill did excellent work. We cannot say enough about the experience, the perfection of the work, and the overall end result. Joe was great to deal with on this kitchen and flooring project. We replaced cabinets, tops, flooring and made layout changes in the kitchen. We also replaced all the flooring and trim on the main level level, along with flooring on two stairways. All of the work turned out great and was done in the time we expected. We are very pleased with all the work that was accomplished during the renovations, and were especially pleased with all the workmen that we dealt with. After living with our 80s kitchen for 16 years, it was time for a change. The experienced crew with Bayern made the transition easy and fun. Our remodel was fairly extensive and required lots of professional help - framing, drywall, electric, plumbing, cabinetry, flooring, tiling, etc. All of the aspects of the remodel were handled with care. I had no qualms about leaving during the day while work was being done. The crew was very polite and professional and easy to work with. After searching and waiting for almost a year with other contractors who couldn't or would not take on the job, I was thrilled that Bayern Builders came forward. I needed my garage remodeled and needed several doors installed. The garage door opening was made wider so I could finally get my car inside comfortably, new drywall installed, beautiful epoxy floor and several storm doors and entry door installed and completed in a few weeks. Each and every tradesperson who came for each aspect of the job was meticulous, highly experienced, and tenacious. Each tradesperson that came did a little more than expected and were some of the happiest folks I've ever met! Now I hope to get Bayern to do a little more work for me on the inside and outside when the weather improves. Joe, the owner, always stopped by to check on all work and kept in constant communication with me. Now I'm all buttoned up for the Winter!

This was our second remodel project with Bayern Builders, and after the fantastic they did on our kitchen and main level of the house, we were just as pleased with the work on our lower level family room, office and laundry room. Joe helped us with a plan, gave us an estimate and met all expectations by completing on time and within the budget. As usual, his team was prompt, professional and kept everything super clean! This is the third time I have used Bayern Builders for a major project in my house. Joe Wasler and his team are terrific! I particularly like the fact that people who worked on my home six years ago are still Bayern Builders employees or subcontractors. They keep the work area clean and are sure to put down tarps when they're going in and out of the house. And the primary woodworking guy is amazing--he has created a curved wooden archway between my kitchen and dining room, multiple customer built-in bookshelves and an array of built-in cabinetry. The reason why I've used Bayern Builders so many times is that Joe (the owner) cares about his work and does things like he would do if it were his own home. You may be able to find someone to do your job cheaper, but I would be wary of that. Bayern Builders prices are fair and lower than what a lot of others charge in my area. I think it speaks volumes that, even after nine months of work on my house this year, I would DEFINITELY use Bayern Builders again.

Bayern Builders was professional and thorough in the completion of my laundry room remodel. Quotes were submitted in a timely manner with all areas of the remodel listed and price quoted for each service. Workmen were on time and skilled in all aspects of the job. Extremely reliable and professional from the early bidding stages through the final touches. Joe handled a large project for us including tile floor, adding wood floors, and complete gut and remodel of a 1970's kitchen that is now the showpiece of the home. We selected Bayern Builders for the complete renovation of our kitchen and a partial renovation of our master bathroom. We could not be more pleased with the process and the results. The work required the existing kitchen to be completely dismantled and new high end custom cabinetry installed in its place. The kitchen layout was changed, which affected drywall, plumbing & electrical. New top end Sub-Zero, Wolf & Miele appliances were installed. The bathroom likewise involved a new arrangement of sinks & cabinetry. Every Bayern craftsman who worked on this project was of the highest caliber and the communication and cooperation could not have been better. We hired Bayern to do our complete Kitchen remodel this past fall. That project expanded to include the complete kitchen, the powder room, and an entire new floor on the main floor of the home. I initially hired this company to install the new kitchen cabinets I purchased from Tri Star Cabinets in New Lenox. The Tri Star salesman recommended Bayern as one of their top installers. When Joe came out to meet with us I asked him if they did other remodeling jobs. After several meetings we decided to install a solid oak floor throughout our entire 1st floor, remodel our kitchen and dining area, gut and completely redo our master bath and retile our other 2nd floor bath. The entire job took 10 weeks to complete. Joe plus all his crew were friendly and professional at all times. They were very clean as we continued to live in our house the entire time except for the two weeks we were on vacation. The workmanship was excellent and the project manager Mark had great attention to detail. Four years later we are still very pleased with the job that was done. The one things that stands out for me is that Joe the owner is a man of his word. Things that he said he'd do he always followed through on until everything was done to our satisfaction. Three years after the job was completed our kitchen under cabinet lights were flickering on and off. I called Joe and he immediately diagnosed it as a faulty dimmer switch. Two days later one of Joe's men stopped over and installed a new dimmer free of charge and the problem went away and hasn't returned. Now that is what I call great service. Thanks Joe
