Recently, I purchased Belgard Stack Stones to construct a retaining wall in my backyard. The thicknesses of these stack stones vary from 2” to 2.5”. The irregularity in thickness is significant, making it impossible to assemble them uniformly. The Belgard Account Manager has inspected the issue and escalated it to Belgard management. However, Belgard's response is that they do not recognize this as a problem and consider a ½” thickness variation within the acceptable range for splitface products. In my opinion, the quality of this product is NOT acceptable. Our experience indicates that this variation is adversely affecting the overall appearance of our project. We noticed this issue after completing the third level of the wall. The only viable solutions are: 1.Uninstalling the third and second levels of the stack stones. 2.Reinstalling each stone individually, chipping the bottom stone if the upper stone is significantly thinner. Implementing these solutions will require additional labor hours to address this issue effectively.

We have almost exclusively used Belgard Pavers for all our paver projects. I believe they do the best job of paver coloring Through-out the industry. A very natural look, and not too busy which is very important as a designer. Their team also has great customer service, and excellent communication. I am using Belgard Avalon pavers in Tuscana and Autumn in my own back yard as we speak, plus one of their Chicago Brick Oven pizza Ovens! Pictures soon. We have also been named Belgard Master Craftsman distinction.

Ross NW Watergardens has used Belgard pavers, especially the Lafitt and Arbel lines, many times over the last 7+ years in Portland, OR. We have had no issues and many happy customers. There are other products in our area that look similar but do not install as easily or age as well. I also appreciate that their website has so many great pictures, it really helps to sell their products!
