My wife and I were casually searching for a new home for 3-4 months. We looked at building with Beazer Homes in a new neighborhood in Fairview and looked at several other homes. All of the options were either out of our price range or just not a great fit for us. In most cases, I wasn't all that thrilled with the quality or features of the home for those that were out of our price range. Beazer was nickel and dimeing us every time we turned around. Then we stumbled on a home built in Kingston Springs less than 2 miles from where we were living at the time, which allowed us to keep the kids in the same schools. The second we walked in the door, my wife and I turned to each other and said, "This is the one." Real hardwood floors, craftsman trim on ALL the doors and windows, soft closing cabinets, mud room bench with hooks, tankless water heater, great quality faucets, fixtures, appliances and more. We've lived in this home for a year now and we still love it and can't believe that we get to live here at times. Thank you Brent & Bending Chestnut for providing a great quality and visually stunning house for us to call home.

We've had Bending Chestnut do multiple projects for us since 2012. First, they added on a garage, porch, and extended roofline to the rear of our house. Friends who visit in our backyard are always in love with the design and the way they helped us utilize the small yard. Second, we had them do a series of smaller upgrades such as built-in cabinetry, finishing a mudroom with benches/shelves, converting a small weird closet into a small office nook, and changing out sinks and granite in a bathroom. Finally, we had them complete a full kitchen renovation in fall 2016. It's gorgeous. Here are some reasons we love BCC: a) they're the nicest, most trustworthy contractors we've worked with in multiple projects in different states. I left my babies napping many times when picking up my older kids from school while the guys worked! b) they are honest and upfront about estimates, costs, and timelines. c) they keep the job site clean - everyone cleans up at the end of each day, including picking up nails in our yard each day, sweeping, using the shop vac, putting up tools, etc. The mess is as minimal as it can be. d) The quality of their work is top-notch, including the work of those with whom they may sub-contract (our painters/drywall folks were like magic, and the tile guy had a reputation for being one of the best). e) If there's anything wrong, they will fix it. We ran into a measurement issue when our kitchen cabinets were installed, and we discussed a solution and it was completely repaired and reinstalled within a couple of days. Anytime we've had issues/problems, they are responsive and want the customer to be happy. I could go on, but you get the idea. Best contractors you can find!

Bending Chestnut Construction is building homes for me in my small, luxury niche development near downtown Columbia, Their close attention to manifesting all special features of my homes shows that they care just as much about the end result as I do! Their subs are very skilled, and their trim work is spectacular. They are also mindful of budget and time constraints. Owners Brent Fox and Chris Whidby are honest, reliable and personable guys and have been great to work with. They have just started building another home for me, and things are moving along in a timely fashion. I highly recommend them for residential construction, and have seen commercial projects they have done that are also fantastic!

Bending Chestnut Construction is an A+ company to deal with in small remodeling job or building a new custom home. I hired them to install new windows in my home recently and they were beyond professional. Brent, Chris and Joe go above and beyond and have a great attitude to work with.
