Better Built Cabinetry

Back in 2008 my wife and I had finally decided it was time to upgrade our kitchen. After looking at hundreds of different kitchen designs my wife had settled on a a design she really liked. The only problem was the kitchen she had chose took up much more space than what we had available. I contacted Chris Mahner from Better Built Custom Cabinetry to come and take a look at the design we had chosen. He redesigned the kitchen plan to better fit the space we would have if we moved one wall approximately 2 feet . He worked with us on ideas to take advantage of all of the space we had available to maximize storage space. Our plan had custom built columns on both sides of the stove area and decorative lighted medallions between the columns above the stove. Chris also built a movable island with butcher block top for our kitchen. We selected cherry as the wood species for our new cabinets and the stain color was exactly what we wanted. The lake house rustic cabinet design and layout made a perfect décor statement while maintaining complete functionality. Also, the cabinet and door finishes are exceptional. I enjoyed the entire process, design, material choice, installation and value received.

We had our kitchen cabinets built and installed by this company. They worked with us to get the right custom sizes for our drawers and upper cupboards. When they installed them we were very happy with the results. They look very nice and the price was very fair. We plan on adding to our kitchen with a custom island next. Better Built Cabinetry installed bookcases on either side of our fireplace about 5 years after we built our home. They are so beautifully built and expertly installed that everyone who sees them comments that they appear to have been here the whole time!
